Ekaterina's work is inspired by nature, spirituality and sacred symbolism, often creating intuitive mandalas and abstract compositions. She works with oil pastels, pencils and experimental techniques such as scraping, building finely detailed structures on delicate, light-changing surfaces. She is also an author and an illustrator of the adventure novel “From the Roots to the Sky: Getting Lost and Finding Yourself in India and Nepal”.

She has completed training in yoga and mindfulness meditation and integrates these practices into her artistic process. Her works have been presented in spaces such as Toplotsentrala (Sofia), +Tova (Sofia), the Chitalishte in Chepelare, the Book Fair, every year since 2021 during Vita Rama health programs and others.
