Emi Hanes is a German visual artist and musician based in Bansko since 2022. Working primarily with ink, watercolour, and mixed media, she creates atmospheric drawings inspired by architecture, history, urban environments, and landscapes.

Her creative process is intuitive and spontaneous, based on the freedom of line, the lightness of color, and the unpredictability of the moment.
Through her works, she captures the character of places and the stories they carry, often with a touch of romance and humor.
He developed his skills through training with various artists and teachers around the world. In 2026, he participated in exhibitions in Sofia, Bansko and Crete, Greece, including Art in the Yard, an exhibition at the Nikola Vaptsarov Museum during the Bansko Jazz Festival and the international project Art Kamilari.
