Anelia Marinova
Anelia Marinova (b. 1972) is an artist based in Bansko. She works in the field of fine arts with a focus on the spiritual-emotional interpretation of the image and landscape. Her work explores inner states, human presence and the urban environment, often seeking expression "beyond form", especially in portraits.

She works primarily with watercolor, dry pastel, charcoal, and red chalk. She is attracted to the challenge of watercolor - its difficult controllability and unpredictability, as well as the graphic power and vibration of the line in dry techniques. Her watercolor works intertwine dense texture and atmospheric transparency.
She has participated in group exhibitions in Madrid and has been developing her skills at an art center in the Spanish capital for ten years, including working with live models. Her thematic series include interpretations of everyday animals, humanized through traditional costumes.
